"I have always had a passion for helping to connect people through similar life experiences and challenges and found that creating a podcast was the best way to do this. I was given a harsh reality check that we are all only human. This came in the form of a brain tumour which I was diagnosed with in April 2019. In June 2019 I underwent brain surgery to remove a golf ball size tumour and although I have recovered physically I was not prepared for the emotional and financial impact this would have on myself and my family."
