In David's words:
For 40 years, I've been an entrepreneur. As an alcoholic who recently celebrated his 5,000th day sober, I know first-hand what it’s like to be a business owner and an alcoholic in the midst of his addiction. If you run your own business and are challenged by alcoholism or addiction, there is a solution. Entrepreneurs are driven individuals; you don’t have to turn to drugs or alcohol when it becomes too much.
David J. Greer is an entrepreneurial coach, author, and facilitator. He is the catalyst that gets you to fully live your dreams now. Spend one hour reading his book Wind In Your Sails, attend a one-hour talk with him, or get one hour of 1-to-1 coaching, and you will have 3 concrete action items that will shift and accelerate your business within 90 days. David specializes in working with entrepreneurs challenged with alcoholism or addiction. He and his wife Karalee are committed to each other and their three children, spending time supporting them in the many varied activities they are involved with. They live in Vancouver, Canada.
3 Tips for my audience

2. You can lead a high-growth and thriving business without using alcohol or drugs to cope with the challenges and stress

Jocelyn Bellows, founder of Strike a New Match, is a Breakthrough Coach, author, podcast host and motivational speaker.
In the wake of the ending of her marriage in 2017, she began a journey of self-discovery, investing in learning and expanding on understanding why she was the way she was and took action the way she did. During this intentional journey, Jocelyn uncovered the truth of who she is and her continually evolving life’s purpose.
Jocelyn works with men and women, allowing them to discover their deepest and most authentic selves. Together, they uncover the layers of stories and mistruths that each of us has told ourselves, getting to the roots and rewriting the story. By understanding those base layers and removing the weeds, one then gets to create room to plant a new storyline that nourishes the soul and allows us to live.

A midwife, personal trainer, yoga instructor, doctoral candidate, speaker and author, Carrie Schell has dedicated her life's work to health and wellness. As an addiction specialist helping others recover, Carrie realized she, like millions of other women, was a grey drinker...not an alcoholic. Still, her relationship with alcohol was unhealthy, in a grey area.
Carrie Schell has spent her career in health and wellness, helping people through their intimate and life-transforming journeys. Carrie's latest passion is giving a voice to grey drinking and helping women create s healthy relationships with alcohol. Her latest book, "The Gray Drinking Reset," is a 30-day journey to help women reclaim control over alcohol. She is also hosting wellness retreats for women to connect and reset their wellness journey in Costa Rica, where she lives.
3 top tips for my audience:
1. If you are beginning to question if you drink too much, listen to your intuition.
2. Take a break, a 10 day reset…
3. Being honest about your relationship with alcohol takes courage; I’m proud of you!

Mental health is often an afterthought for most people when, in reality, it is vital to your physical health. With so much online information, it is hard to figure out what is fake and what is a fact. Navigating through the world wide web is exponentially more difficult for children, so my goal with the book series is to help clear up misconceptions about mental health and give guidance. Children turn to social media for advice, which is why our world is in its current state.
I was born in Vietnam but grew up in Southern California. Our family moved to the states when I was 7 years old. As an immigrant, I shared the same struggles as many other immigrants with adjusting to a new norm and dealing with bullying, discrimination, and constantly having to self-validate while fighting off depression. Having been in practice for over 10 years as a Family Physician, I have realized that my struggles are shared by many of my patients. As the pandemic progressed, I saw more and more visits related to mental health in the clinic for both adults and children. I was motivated to do something to help educate children and help start a dialogue between parents and children about mental health. I figured the best way to help educate is through storytelling.
3 top tips for my audience:
1. Think of mental health as a regular part of your health, not something separate.
2. Don’t be afraid to talk about your feelings to your family and friends; you would be surprised at the commonality that everyone experiences.
3. Listen with your heart, not your ears.

320 Matthew Dickson: When things seem impossible, there is hope beyond hope…
Friday Dec 23, 2022
Friday Dec 23, 2022
Have things in your life ever seemed impossible? We are all capable of so much more than we think we are. I was tested for schizophrenia, and when things seemed impossible, I was shown I had a strength I had no idea was inside me. You have this too. We are all ordinary people capable of extraordinary things. I ended up successfully recovering from schizophrenia, and now I help people with mental illness in developing countries so they can get access to primary mental health care at www.MindAid.ca.
Matthew Dickson bicycled across Canada at the age of 20, but shortly afterwards, he developed schizophrenia and was forced to alter the course of his life for many years to get through the disease.
While working on his recovery in his home country of Canada, his heart went out to people with mental illness in developing countries who had it much worse than he did.
After successfully recovering from schizophrenia, Matthew now helps people with mental illness in developing countries so they can get access to primary mental health care through his Mind Aid platform.
3 top tips for my audience:
1. “Unbeatable Mind” by Mark Divine, mindset secrets of Navy SEALs, SEALs are taught they are capable of 20x more than they think they are
2. “The Survivor Personality” by Al Siebert, how people survived the Holocaust, cancer, natural disasters, alcoholism and thrived afterwards
3. “Verbal Judo: The Gentle Art of Persuasion” by George Thompson, how police officers deal with people with words, not weapons
